About Us
In The Beginning
Ruby Adkins and 15 friends organized the club in 1961. We initially met in
many different locations across the years.   Ava Broderick (from New York City) and
Ruby  organized the first Annual Art Show. We called it "Artist Alley". It was held it
in  the alley between Ward's Hardware Store and the Barber Shop that was owned
at that time by Bob Turner. Like "Old Faithful" in Yellowstone, we have held on every
year since 1961. It is held during the 3rd week of October. Click on Events to see

Currently
 We moved into our new and permanent home on April 2006. After lots of hard
sweaty work from all the members to clean, paint and fix up the place we held our   
first open house on September 10, 2006.
